2nd Annual Bridget and Bradley Heart Run 5K and 3K Walk

You will be able to register at our packet pick-ups and on race day.

Race Start: 7:30 a.m.

                   $35 beginning September 1st

Please note participants are responsible for a $3.00 per car parking fee at Gunpowder State Park.  We encourage car-pooling.  Out of state cars are $5.00.

The race is limited to the first 500 participants.  Help us reach our goal and register early. 

The Race:  The 5 kilometer(3.1 miles) course is contained inside the park.  For the safety of our participants, the course is closed to bikes, rollerblades, and skateboards.  Participants with strollers please start in the back of the field.  The 3 kilometer walk will begin shortly after the start of the race.

Race Timing:  Charm City Run will be providing standard finish line timing and scoring to produce final results.  Only the 5k run will be timed, the walk will not.

Awards:  The top three male/female finishers will receive a crystal heart trophy.  Awards will be given to the top three male/female finishers in each of the following age groups: 10 and under, 11-15, 16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60 and over.

Prizes:  To be determined.  Check with our website as we will update.  

Fundraising:  We will have the top three fundraiser prizes as well as top teams.  You will be able to track your fundraising goals at our secure registration page.  Register your team at the registration page as well.

Top Fundraising Prize:  The Breakers Hotel and the Dough Roller Restaurants present a three day, two night stay at The Breakers Hotel on the Boardwalk in Ocean City, Maryland.  Includes two $25 gift cards for The Dough Roller Restaurants.  Reservation based upon availability.  Package is for standard room which may be upgraded, and is not redeemable on holiday or event weekends.  Expires October 18, 2014.  Top fundraiser will be determined by total money raised by 8:30 am on race day.

Parking:  There will be signs posted to park in the Dogwood Parking Lot.  Parking will be $3.00 per car at Gunpowder State Park.  The fee is $5.00 for out of state cars.  We encourage car-pooling.   

Virtual Runner Registration: For those in-your-dreams runners/walkers, you don't even have to show up on race day. Stick to your weekend schedule, sleep in -- or not -- and still support the Bridget and Bradley Heart Run.

We encourage you to bring the family as Gunpowder State Park is a beautiful place to spend the day or a few hours exploring, kicking a soccer ball, throwing a football, riding a bike, hiking, enjoying the playgrounds.
